Biography

Fifteen years ago, Amar made Australia his home. Together with his wife, they have raised their family of two young boys in Park Holme, a community that they have enjoyed for the last decade.

As a food truck business owner, Amar understands the everyday challenges that families and small businesses face. The cost of living continues to soar, making life difficult for many in our community.

During Covid, he and his family delivered free meals to those in need, a service he has proudly continued for the elderly and vulnerable. This has strengthened his belief in the importance of compassion and resilience, which he brings to his business and leadership roles.

As a councillor, he has focused on improving local infrastructure, enhancing community facilities, promoting sports to provide a valuable outlet for local children and advocating for better parking. He will bring these practical solutions to Parliament and will advocate to:

• Support small businesses

• Build local infrastructure

• Promote sports and recreation for our community

• Live the values of fairness and respect

As a family man, small business owner and councillor, Amar is dedicated to putting community first and will bring genuine commitment and fresh energy to represent Badcoe.
