Biography

Anna is passionate about driving change in politics and being a representative who puts her community first. The granddaughter of Italian and Maltese immigrants, Anna has inherited her grandparents strong work ethic and dedication to improving life for the next generation. She is an active member of the Italian community, and volunteers locally at the Women’s Community Centre at Stepney.

As a resident of Norwood, and previously Kensington Gardens, Anna is a strong advocate for getting trucks off Portrush Road, protecting the character of our local suburbs, and ensuring Dunstan is a liveable, safe, and vibrant community for households and small businesses. Anna brings to politics an impressive professional background, including over 15 years in policy development, advocacy, law reform, government, and a PhD in public health.

She is keen to utilise her skills and experience to contribute to solving complex problems like our cost-of-living crisis and our failing healthcare system. Anna is also an energetic advocate for women's economic empowerment, women's health issues, and women in leadership. Whether it's her work in research and public policy or her efforts to engage more women in politics, she is committed to driving positive change. Anna has the experience to advocate and the energy to create change for our community.
