Haritha Reddy Yara has proudly called the Torrens electorate home since 2009. Arriving in Australia in 2006, she built her life from the ground up.

Starting in the retail sector and steadily working her way into a management role through hard work, resilience, and determination. Her journey reflects the lived reality of many middle-class Australian families: balancing work, family responsibilities, and the pressures of everyday life, while striving to get ahead.

Deeply connected to her local community, Haritha has actively volunteered with a range of multicultural organisations playing a hands-on role in supporting newly arrived migrants, helping them settle, find employment, and navigate life in Adelaide. She has gained first-hand insight into the challenges families face as they build a future in a new country.
