Biography

Jane grew up in our community in Marion and North Brighton, attended local schools, lives in Hove and owns and runs her own small business on Brighton Road. She is an active community advocate, volunteer, local resident, Councillor, and Deputy Mayor of City of Holdfast Bay.

Jane deeply understands what locals care about. Standing up for our community, Jane led the campaign against the Hove Level Crossing Bridge alongside other locals, protecting the liveability and amenity of our area. Over many years Jane has secured upgrades to lighting in main streets, improved local roads, upgraded local facilities and fought for and saved local heritage properties and significant trees.

As a business owner for 17 years, Jane knows first-hand the struggles that local businesses face. The cost of rent, electricity and insurance is through the roof, and she wants to do something about it. Jane loves our area that she’s lived and worked in for the majority of her life and she wants to see the character of our streets and suburbs preserved and our precious coastal environment protected.

Jane knows how to listen to and advocate for people, and she will fight for the things that matter. She is passionate about representing the interests of our community and being your voice.
