Biography

Julian Amato grew up in suburban Adelaide, attended Adelaide University and works as a lawyer in the Adelaide CBD. A member of the North Adelaide Football Club, the Adelaide City Lions Club, the Prospect Abruzzo and Molise Club Committee, Julian is embedded in our community. He believes we need to improve:

• Community and personal safety
• Local infrastructure
• Local amenities, such as parks and shops.

Julian will listen and fight for all the issues that matter to the community. As a lawyer, listening and advocating for people’s interests is what Julian does and who he is. Whether you’re a business owner, a homeowner, or just trying to get ahead, he wants to fight for you and be your voice in the parliament. Julian is a community volunteer, whether at the local social club in Prospect or sizzling sausages with the Adelaide Lions Club, he believes that service to others and compassion are pivotal to nurturing a thriving and safe community. Adelaide is made up of people from many different backgrounds who often have differing priorities, all equally important.

Julian will work to address these priorities, such as preserving our local parklands and the heritage and character of our suburbs, as well as ensuring rising crime and community safety concerns are given the focus that they deserve. He will be the energetic voice in the SA Parliament that Adelaide needs.
