In 2008, Kanwaldeep “KD” Singh arrived in South Australia with his wife
and young son, determined to work hard, build a future, and give back.
Today, he is Managing Director of Money Merchants Financial Services,
runs a Clare Valley tourism venture, and is recognised as a community
leader.
Drawn to the Liberal Party’s values of reward for effort, personal
responsibility, and opportunity through education and enterprise, KD has
lived those principles. Over more than a decade, he has guided families,
first-home buyers, and small businesses to make confident financial
decisions. As a long-time Adelaide Rotary Club member, he embodies
“service above self,” mentoring young migrants and driving multicultural
outreach through his program MILAAP—Multicultural Initiative of Linking
All Australian People.
KD’s is a true migrant success story—arriving with little, creating jobs,
and remaining grounded in faith, family, and hard work.
He is seeking to be the first Indian-born South Australian elected to the
Legislative Council, committed to delivering reliable, affordable energy,
supporting small business, tackling cost-of-living pressures, expanding
housing supply, and building safer, stronger communities for all South
Australians.
