Dr Oscar Ong is a first-generation Australian, a biomechanical engineer and a proud community advocate. Oscar has built his life through education, hard work and service. He understands the real pressures facing local families – stretching the grocery budget, cutting back on eating out, working long hours and planning carefully as costs continue to rise.
With a background in engineering and research, Oscar believes decisions should be driven by evidence, accountability and real-world outcomes – not politics as usual.
He is running because too many decisions are being made by people disconnected from everyday life in Enfield.
Oscar is focused on cost-of-living relief, energy affordability, support for small businesses and responsible government spending that delivers value for taxpayers.
