Biography

Scott Kennedy is proud to call Morialta home. He moved to Woodforde with his parents when he was six years old and has spent his life growing up, studying, and working in the community he loves. Eight years ago, Scott bought his first home in Athelstone where he now lives with his wife, Madeleine.

Morialta isn’t just where Scott lives - it’s part of who he is.

For the past 16 years, Scott has served as a volunteer with the Country Fire Service, holding leadership positions within the CFS and putting himself on the frontline during some of the state’s toughest emergencies. He’s stood shoulder to shoulder with his community, defending homes and protecting lives.

Scott combines this commitment to service with real-world professional experience - as a senior adviser in government and now as a senior analyst at a South Australian-founded data analytics company. He knows how to navigate complex systems, cut through red tape, and deliver practical results.

He also knows that right now, families, pensioners and small businesses across Morialta are feeling the pressure of Labor’s cost-of-living crisis. That’s why Scott is determined to fight for lower costs for local residents and businesses. His plan includes:

  • Cutting energy bills
  • Slashing payroll tax
  • Cutting stamp duty for first home buyers

Scott is passionate about preserving what makes Morialta special. He will stand against overdevelopment, protect the character of our suburbs, and push for greater investment in local infrastructure and services.

Grounded in his local roots, driven by service, and backed by real experience, Scott Kennedy is ready to be a strong, determined voice for the people of Morialta in the South Australian Parliament.
