Shawn Van Groesen is a local family man who wants to fight in the South Australian Parliament to make our community safer, stronger and more prosperous.
Together with his wife and children, Shawn is involved in the community and has built strong connections with the local businesses in Elder.
Shawn’s parents owned and ran a small business, which he worked in after school and during the school holidays. He saw his parents invest so much of themselves to make their business a success.
He understands the stresses of running a small business, he also knows how tough it is for people to make ends meet, battling through Labors cost of living crisis, with skyrocketing energy bills and soaring grocery bills.
That is why Shawn will fight to lower costs for families, pensioners and businesses.
Shawn’s experience in business provides him with a real world perspective on the local issues we face in our community.
He knows, decisions made in our state parliament have their immediate impact at the local community level.
Over the past three years our community has suffered due to Labors poor economic management, Shawn will fight to ensure that the right decisions, which will support and benefit our community are made.
Shawn will be a strong and experienced voice for the people of Elder in the South Australian Parliament.
