A new Liberal Government will provide the state funding necessary to ensure cancer sufferers in the Limestone Coast can receive the vital care they need.
We will also continue to call on the federal government to recommit funds from the Radiation Oncology Health Program for regional South Australia.
South Australia is the only state to not deliver radiotherapy services regionally.
More than 16,000 people signed a petition in May 2023 calling for the delivery of radiation treatment services in the Limestone Coast.
A dedicated Radiotherapy Working Group have fought tirelessly for this vital service.
